A Chilly Adventure in Philly!

This weekend, my mom and I travelled to Philadelphia so I could attend the URBN 2015 Summer Internship Recruitment Day. After having sunny and 70 degree weather in Santa Barbara, the 18 degrees in Philly was a bit shocking! But these California girls braved the elements and had a lot of fun on our Philly adventure!

We actually caught some cool sights on the plane ride. Can you spot M down there in her plaid uniform skort???

The Pennsylvania landscape was snowy and patchy- pretty with the hint of sunset pink.

My first piece of snow!

Snow in Philadelphia

We came prepared with many layers for the coldest weather of the year in Philly!

Of course we saw all the sights. From the old…

The Liberty Bell

and Independence Hall

To the new…

Rittenhouse Square

We created our own white Christmas while shopping at Rittenhouse Square. A giant Anthropologie in the coolest old house:

West Elm

We did surprisingly well in the cold and had a lot of fun. If you’re ever in Philly you must get a hot donut at Federal Donuts on Sansom Street- so good!

More on my URBN Home Office visit + our trip out to Terrain coming soon!
